LEGENDS OF THE WILD WEST, Youth Production 2018
With AATJ Staff-
Director/Choreographer: Jill Morrison

Musical Director: Beth Langlois

Auditions:
Friday March 2nd - 5pm  (And All That Jazz! PAC)​
Callbacks: 
Sunday March 4th, 1:00pm  (And All That Jazz! PAC)


Roles-

Narrator/Saloon Manager: Strong Actor/Singer. Handles the bulk of the dialogue in the show. Must have charm, ability to interact with audience and comedic skills. Must also be a strong singer with classic Western and contemporary music abilities.

Wildfire Wendy: Strong Singer, Good Actor/Mover. Wendy is the featured singer and is in charge of the entertainment at Wildfire Saloon. Must have a huge vocal range and powerful voice and presence.

Sheriff: Strong Singer/Dancer, slapstick comedy Actor. The Sheriff is lacking in smarts, but is very passionate about his job and saving the town from trouble. Sings various styles of music- musical theatre, country western and rock.

Outlaw Red: Strong Singer, good Actor/Mover. The villain of the show. Must have an intimidating presence. Should be able to handle a variety of vocal styles, from classic Marty Robbins to Bon Jovi.

Daisy: Strong Dancer/Singer, good actress. The damsel in distress. Solo vocalist, also a can-can girl/dancer.

Deputy: Strong Dancer/Actor. Sidekick to the Sheriff, with various comedic bit parts. Also dances in a dream ballet. Vocal abilities a plus, but not required.

Can-Can Girls: Strong dancers. Vocal abilities a plus but not required. Tumbling a plus, but not required. Must have good flexibility, high kicks and splits. The Can-Can girls are featured dancers in Wildfire Saloon.


Ensemble: Saloon Patrons, Saloon Singers, Ensemble Dancers, Featured Tap dancers, Bandits, etc. Various featured vocal lines and dialogue will be assigned for many ensemble characters.
