Synopsis

The final collaboration between Rodgers & Hammerstein was destined to become the world's most beloved musical. Featuring a trove of cherished songs, including "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," "My Favorite Things," "Do Re Mi," "Sixteeen Going on Seventeen" and the title number, The Sound of Music won the hearts of audiences worldwide, earning five Tony Awards and five Oscars. The inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows Maria, an ebullient postulant who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain Von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, the Von Trapp family must make a moral decision.

Runway Modeling & Fashion Show Summer Camp is designed to inspire confidence and poise in our youth. Students will learn how to walk and pose like a runway model. Both girls and boys may enroll. Each student will receive their own makeup kit to use during the lesson, for the showcase and to take home with them after the camp. They will also receive make-up lessons from Master Makeup Artist, Erin McCarthy. Students will learn about the season's trends, which brands to look for and how to enhance their natural features. Erin will give them a makeup tutorial on how to accomplish a natural look for modeling as well as some eccentric and colorful makeup techniques to use for their runway show. She will also answer questions about what it's like behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week runway shows.

The first half of camp will be held at And All That Jazz! PAC and the second half of camp will be held at Longshadow Ranch Winery outdoors. On the final day of camp, students will present a Runway Modeling and Fashion Show for family and friends, outdoors at Longshadow Ranch Winery.
